What makes TILDE different from other modular sofas?
Lägenheten was the first retailer to introduce this sofa design to the United States in 2023. Since then, we've listened closely to customer feedback and refined the design to suit American homes better:
- Improved frame design: The support bars beneath the sofa are permanently connected, eliminating the loose, sliding bars found on earlier versions.
- Corduroy all around: The entire sofa is upholstered in corduroy, including the underside—no cheap, lower-grade fabric that can wear or tear over time.
- More durable arm cushions: The sofa arms are filled with supportive shredded foam rather than polyfill, helping them maintain their shape even with everyday use from kids and pets.
- Manufactured in Europe: Every TILDE sofa is produced in Europe and made with OEKO-TEX® certified textiles and CertiPUR® certified foam, ensuring materials are tested for harmful substances and meet rigorous safety standards.
- Better cushion support: A double support bar helps keep the back cushions securely in place while you're relaxing.
- Local customer support: Our team is based in the United States and is available seven days a week, both in-store and online, to answer questions and provide assistance.
