Wave

Intertwining colours and curves defines Wave by Danish artist Berit Mogensen Lopez. Reminiscent of swirling waves intercepting and flowing over one another, the composition is a reaction to the use of soft pastels to create each form. The muted tones of the medium helps bring a sense of calm to the piece, as deeper tones of blue, red and green coalesce with soft hues of ochre, warm white and baby blue.

Berit Mogensen Lopez is a Danish textile and pattern designer who works in the space between art and design. Her work is mainly based on her colorful and unique collages, as seen in her collections of hand-tufted carpets, prints and posters.
