Introducing Residue, a unique collection that re-shapes the idea about waste, made entirely from leftover material. Using available materials and working towards a circular approach is in our DNA and now we are taking further steps on this journey by launching hand-tufted rugs made entirely from waste material.
Residue Dark Ochre,New Pearl,Sage,Tomato,Bone White, andCobalt Rug is a unique, big rug with one organic stripe that makes a difference in the height. With its structured wool and the high and low cut, Residue can be an art piece to the room but at the same time, fulfill its functions as a rug. The Residue Rug is handmade of 100% wool and as each product is a unique craft which means it can be different from each other.
Layered's - Residue Shaggy Rug - has a warm white color and a cozy and soft expression with high pile in our popular organic shape. The rugs in the collection are handwoven in wool by a 2000-year-old production method from Greece. Each rug is placed in swirling streams of a natural waterfall to create its lively softness and texture. All pieces in the collection are made individually so there might be variations in size and color, meaning that all our customers can enjoy a unique piece. To prevent the rug from slipping, it is advisable to use a rug pad. Due to the long pile and the natural material, shaggy rugs have a tendency to shed. By regular vacuuming, the shedding decreases over time but will never cease completely.

Care Instructions:
Cleaning: Vacuum regularly without a brush. For deeper cleaning, it is recommended to use a laundry service for flat washing.
Stain removal: Wipe the stain carefully with a mixture of lukewarm water and soap. Absorb excess liquid with a dry microfiber cloth.
Samples:
We offer samples in different sizes to help you make a long-term decision. For patterned rugs or rugs with varying pile heights and textures, we recommend the 20" x 20" sample size. Please note that for patterned styles, the sample only shows a carefully selected part of the pattern and does not represent the full design of the rug. The 4" x 7" sample size is ideal when the focus is solely on verifying color choice and texture.
Size Guide Living Room:
Front legs of sofas and armchairs should rest on the rug. Rug should extend about 8–12 inches beyond the furniture.
Size Guide Dining Room:
Rug should fit under the table and chairs, even when chairs are pulled out. Ensure at least 24 inches extra on each side beyond the table.
Size Guide Bedroom:
Rug should extend well beyond the bed. A good rule is 24–36 inches on each side.
