Mood by Danish artist Berit Mogensen Lopez was brought about through ongoing trials and tests with the medium of soft pastels. The soft, transparent nature of the medium is apparent as layers of textured forms overlap and combine together. The result is a composition that is bold, yet softened and calmed as dusty tones of red, warm beige and pink are interspersed with deeper tones of blue and green.

Berit Mogensen Lopez is a Danish textile and pattern designer who works in the space between art and design. Her work is mainly based on her colourful and unique collages, as seen in her collections of hand-tufted carpets, prints and posters.
